PostSubject: funfaktory's Application   Sun Apr 22, 2012 11:40 am

Hi there,
I'm funfaktory or for you Dominik (call me Dome (my name sucks)), I read your post in the Game Forum and it sounded quite intresting, so I thought "Give it a try ^^". Well, here I am. And from now I'm just going to use your format ( ).

Why do you want to join?

Quite simple, playing alone is boring.
And if I can help the people I play together with, it's simply great.
So I want to join you because of:
- Having fun with you guys
- Helping you guys whereever i can
- Helping the guys that buy things from us (We are going to sell things i hope ^^)

What role do you want?

Ahhh, that's a little bit of a Problem...
Actually, it seems so that I'm simply not able to do anything with the DCPU...
But I'm quite good in building ships and stuff. I'm told that i have solutions for architectual problems others wouldn't even think of...
So i could take the Engineer Subgroup "Ship Engineer".

Well, and since I've played a load of spacegames I'm quite a nice Pilot so taking the Position of a "Long Distance Pilot" would be no problem and i think i might be able to handle the "Combat Pilot" thingy too, but I'm not too sure about that.

So, in the end I thought about taking the Position of a "Ship Engineer" AND a "Long Distance Pilot" (because i don't like fighting so much).
In the case that this is not possible i would prefer the "Ship Engineer"'s position.

What's your timezone

GMT +1 (the one for Berlin and Amstersdam)

How frequently per week you are expecting to play?

Well, let me see...
Eventually every day, but i'm not sure...
But you can expect 4-5 days per week.
Weekend is obvious. And on the other days i would say from 16:00 to 23:00.

From 1 to 10, how good you are at that role?

Well, actually self-judging is a hard thing to do. Surely you know that. But you can expect the following Numbers to be accurate.

"Ship Engineer" 8-9
because since i was 5 i loved spaceships and stuff so i know a load about scifi and the rest is from playing games like X2 and Darkstar One. But i'm playing Minecraft and yeah i created the one or other blueprint too, so making things out of nothing is no problem too.

"Long Distance Pilot" (depending on the way to steer the ship) 7
because i practized it in other games ^^

What's your age?

15 (not too long anymore in June it will change to 16)
But People say I talk more mature... Whatever...

When the game is released, will you instantly pay for the game, or will you wait?

That's hard to answer. Because we don't know so much about the payment thingy it could be that I have to wait (parents you know...), but if there is a way I definitely would buy it and start playing as soon as possible.

Well, thats about it. If you want to know anything else, let me know.

Second, my english could be a bit bad, 'cause i'm from germany...

Accepted. Welcome.

I was going to judge you by yours grammar, but you seem mature. It's understandable when you aren't a native English speaker.

Here we have plenty of engineers, I'm pretty sure everyone wants to teach you how to toy with the DCPU if you are interested.

So, I will put you as pilot, but I am considering teaching you DCPU engineering.

Oh, if you want, there's a good article at the 0x10c Wiki, with the name "Assembly Beginner's Guide".

Nice to see we have close timezones.
